Soak the dried chickpeas overnight. The next day, rinse the chickpeas and place them in a food processor along with the other ingredients. Blend until you get a paste. If needed, add a little water or flour.

Shape small balls with your hands. For a healthier version, you can bake the falafel balls in the oven without oil, but this version can be quite dry. Bake at 180°C for 25 minutes or until golden. Alternatively, you can fry them in a pan with a little oil. The main photo shows falafel fried in a pan, while the photo below shows the baked version - you can see the difference.
