My better half loves gin and we do have a nice collection but here in Thailand some are difficult to find or insanely expensive. A few companies make an amazing rubarb and ginger do I tried to replicate it. This is super simple and at nearly 1/4 of the price it is perect. WOW your freinds with this special drink. ENJOY :P

1 LitreYour favourite gin - I used Gordons
1 Stickrubarb chopped into 1 inch pcs (I actually trimmed some rubard and used the bits you normally throw away)
10 PcCrystalize Ginger

In a bowl heat the rubard in microwave on full for 1-2 mins. you want to release all those amazing flavours and colours.

Get a large open neck jar and put in rubarb / ginger and pour in all the gin. Seal and then give it a few turns to mix together. Put into cupboard and twice a day give it a turn.

After 3 days (you can leave much longer) strain the gin using some muslin of clean cloth and return to the Orginal bottle. Serve with ice and tonic as normal - WOWWWWWEEEEEE :P
