Braised Beef with Pasta

Add a splash of oil to a pot. Chop the onion and garlic, add them to the pot, and sauté.

Add the beef short ribs or flank steak, cut between the bones. Partially cover and continue cooking.

Pour in the bottle of crushed tomatoes and fill the empty bottle with water, then add that as well.

Add the seasoning mix to taste.

Add the peas (optional).

Add 1 teaspoon paprika and cook over medium heat until the sauce reduces slightly.

Add the pasta and cook for a few minutes in the sauce.

Serve and top the pasta with grated cheese if desired.

Serve hot.
