Being brought up in SI I always love to prepare SI recipes.
This dosa is made with instant batter requiring no fermentation. Butter or Clarified Butter are used to make this dosa.
Sometimes,we feel to make dosa but the fermentation process requires time.

Steps

Ready all the required ingredients.Peel,chop and take 1 raw potato in mixie jar. Add little water and crush the potato a bit.

Add in the flours,salt and chilli powder. Also add in some water and curd. Churn.

Churn to form a lump free batter, adding more water as needed. Transfer into a bowl.

Heat and season a tawa. Add Eno into the batter. Pour 1 tbsp water on the Eno.

Mix Eno well into the batter. Make dosa on tawa. Cook a minute on medium flame.Allow the top side to dry a bit and then apply butter all over.

Sprinkle molgapodi and coriander. Apply some more butter and roast well.

This dosa is cooked on one side only. Do not turn the dosa. Cook on medium gas for best results. When the desired colour is attained,fold and serve this tasty BENNE DOSA BREAKFAST with chutney,sambar or just coffee. Happy Cooking 😊!!
Tips
1.The raw potato used gives the much needed stickiness (like soaked urad dal) to the batter.
