Rice Urad Dal Khichadi

Take a big bowl and mix rice and dal. Wash rice and urad dal properly. Soak for 30 minutes.Add green chili and ginger.

Heat ghee in a pressure cooker. Add cuminseeds and crackle them.

Add red chili powder, turmeric. Add rice and dal, salt, and water. Mix well.

Cover and Take 2 whistles. Cook on low heat until soft and water is absorbed.Open cooker.

Add ghee in khichadi.Serve hot khichadi with chuteny.
Tips
For added flavor, you can add a pinch of hing.
