Heat oil in a skillet over medium high heat and sauté the garlic, ginger, cumin and green chilies till aromatic.

Add cilantro and mint and sauté for 1 minute.

Remove and cool and then blend into a smooth paste.

Score the chicken pieces and season with salt and pepper.

Add lemon juice, yogurt and green paste. Mix well to coat the chicken. Cover and refrigerate for 40 minutes, overnight works best.

Remove chicken from fridge and bring to room temperature.

Pan sear the chicken while basting with some oil and lemon juice. Cook till tender. Remove and set aside.
