Ingredients

30 mins
4-serving
  • 2 CupsRice Long Grain
  • 1/4 CupCelery chopped
  • 5 - 6Chicken Franks (chopped)
  • 1 CupCilantro Coriander Leaves /
  • 1/2 CupTomato Chopped
  • 1Onionchopped
  • 2 TablespoonsPaprika
  • 3 - 4 CupsWater

Steps

  1. 1

    In a large pot, heat a little oil and toss in the onion, tomato, cilantro and celery. Saute them briefly.

  2. 2

    Now add salt to taste and the paprika. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Add Water (Measure out the water as per the cooking instruction of the rice.)

  4. 4

    Add the chicken franks and bring the water up to a boil.

  5. 5

    Once the water has boiled, add the rice. Bring the water back to boil. Once it has boiled, lower the flame to a simmer and close the pot.

  6. 6

    Let the rice cook for about 15-20 minutes.

  7. 7

    Serve with ketchup
