This dessert is DELICIOUS! After all, it has all the right ingredients: chocolate, coffee & cream! My husband said he would pay good money to have this at a fancy restaurant. :)

This dessert is DELICIOUS! After all, it has all the right ingredients: chocolate, coffee & cream! My husband said he would pay good money to have this at a fancy restaurant. :)

Steps

Roughly chop up the chocolate into small pieces.

In a big heat proof bowl, bring together the chocolate, the coffee, and the salt. Mix.

In a sauce pan, add the cream, the sugar, and the vanilla.

Place the saucepan over medium low heat, and stir the cream.

Keep stirring till you start to see bubbles on the surface of the cream. Turn off the stove.

Now pour this mixture into the bowl of chocolate & coffee. Let this sit for 1 minute.

Now whisk everything together.

At first, the mixture will be white and runny. The more you whisk, the move chocolatey the mixture will become.

Once everything is well combined, pour it out into two cups or ramekins.

Place these in the chiller tray of your fridge for at least 4-5 hours.

Before serving, whisk the remaining cream in a small bowl. Spoon it over the rich chocolate dessert. Sprinkle some cocoa powder on top.

Eat, eat, eat!! :) This dessert is rich, creamy, and heavenly!
