Moist Chocolate Cake

Presenting to you a guest writer for the blog today. Sarah, a friend of mine here in WGTN baked the yummiest chocolate cake for my birthday. It was so good that I had to get the recipe of her to share it with you all. It tastes good just as, or a scoop of ice-cream and some sliced strawberries to garnish, should do the trick :)

It was so good that I had to get the recipe of her to share it with you all. It tastes good just as, or a scoop of ice-cream and some sliced strawberries to garnish, should do the trick :)
Steps
- 1
Begin by mixing the wet ingredients: Begin with the eggs, next add in the sugar, followed by the butter, milk, vanilla essence, and coffee
- 2
Slowly add in the rest of the dry ingredients: Flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and the salt
- 3
Sarah used an electric mixer for 5-8mins, and finds that the mixer lightens the mix causing it to be lighter and moist
- 4
Bake in a preheated 180C oven for 30-40mins
- 5
Let it cool while you make the frosting. Mix the frosting ingredients together. Add the required amount of milk, it gives that perfect gloss to the frosting. Pour it over the cake, cut yourself a slice and ENJOY!
