Ingredients

  • 6eggs Boiled
  • 1 tspCumin seeds
  • 3Red onions large (sliced)
  • 3Tomatoes (chopped)
  • 2 tbspsGinger garlic paste
  • 2Green chili
  • 1 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1 tbspChili powder
  • 1 tspCoriander powder
  • 1 tspCumin powder
  • handfulCoriander leaves (chopped)
  • to tasteSalt
  • 2 tbspsOil
  • 1 tbspButter

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Allow to crackle. Then add onions and salt. Saute until golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste and green chilies. Saute till raw smell disappears.

  2. 2

    Add the tomatoes and allow to soften. Then add the turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder and cumin powder. Saute until the oil separates and raw smell disappears.

  3. 3

    Roast the boiled eggs in another pan with butter and then add the eggs to the roast mixture.

  4. 4

    Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with iddiappam or pathiri.
