One Pot Lentil and Rice
Steps

Cook Split moong dal in 4 cups of water,(if pressure cooking add less water)

Wash the rice and keep it aside

Finely Chop onions and coriander leaves and keep it aside

Once the dal is cooked half through add rice and cook until rice is done

In a hard bottomed pan heat oil.

Once the oil is hot splatter the cumin seeds,whole red chillies and finely chopped Onions

Fry until transparent,add turmeric and dal rice mixture.

Reduce until most of the water is adsorbed.

Garnish with coriander and serve warm.
