Baby potato manchurian - without corn flour

Gobi manchurian or chicken manchurian is a staple at any Indo - Chinese restaurants. This deep fried dish is tasty and crisp as the chicken or cauliflower is coated with corn flour and is a loaded with calories. I have done away with the corn flour and the deep frying ..hence making this dish easy to prepare apart from being healthy. It goes very well with toasted brown bread. This recipe can be made with baby potatoes or sweet potatoes ( for the health conscious).

Heat the oil in a saucepan and on medium heat stir fry the green chilies, chopped ginger, lower the heat and add the chopped spring onions, soy sauce, vinegar, salt and cane sugar and stir fry for a few seconds. Add the cooked baby potatoes or cubed sweet potatoes and stir fry for a min or two. Remove from heat and pile it over cooked noodles or toasted bread
