Soak the rice in water for a minimum of 4 hours.

Add the rice flakes.

Grind all the ingredients together to a semi liquid consistency.

Keep the Kadai on fire and let it heat for a few minutes.

Appy ghee to the kadai

Now pour a ladle of the prepared mixture on to the kadai
- 7
Immediately rotate the kadai holding it with both the hands.

Cover with a lid and let it cook for some time.

Remove the Appam fire once it leaves the sides of the kadai
- 10
Relish the Appam with a curry of your choice.
