  • 2Eggs
  • 2Bread slices
  • enough for poachingWater
  • 1 pinch(optional) Salt
  • 1 pinch(optional) Pepper

Steps

8-9 minutes
  1. 1

    Bring water to a gentle simmer in a saucepan (about 3 minutes).

  2. 2

    Crack eggs into small bowls, then gently slide into the simmering water.

  3. 3

    Poach eggs for about 3 minutes until whites are set.

  4. 4

    Toast bread in a toaster for 50 seconds.

  5. 5

    Place poached eggs on toast. Season with salt and pepper if desired.
