To make bite-sized portions that can be passed on a tray, mix the meat with the other ingredients to taste and spoon onto small toasts, cucumber slices, or into hollowed-out cherry tomatoes or mushrooms.

Mound the beef on a serving platter or form it into a fanciful shape. Arrange the other ingredients around the beef. Diners help themselves to beef and condiments, then mix them all together on individual plates. Spread on toast to eat.
