One of the most popular Indian street foods that one can find in any corner of India. It's mainly prepared using papdis, sweetened curd (dahi), boiled potatoes, boondi, some sweet, spicy, and tangy chutney, and finally, topped with some sev.
Steps
- 1
Arrange 5 to 6 puris in a plate. Put smashed, boiled potatoes over it. Add some boondi to it.
- 2
Add finely cut chopped onion and tomatoes. Add the whisked curd over it.
- 3
Sprinkle cumin powder and chat masala over it. Add sweet chutney and green chutney over it.
- 4
Lastly sprinkle nylon sev, garnish with coriander leaves, and pomegranate. Serve immediately.
Tips
Always make papri chaat fresh, as the papdis lose the crispness and will get soggy when kept longer outside.
