Measure 7 cups of water in a sufuria and let it boil on the cooker until it totally boils

Using the same cup measure three and a half cups of rice and add to the boiling water. Add the cooking oil and salt and stir.

Add the grated carrots then cover partially. As the water reduces cover completely for 15-20 minutes.

When the rice is cooked turn off the heat and turn the rice so that it can mix with carrots completely.Then serve while hot
