Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsall-purpose flour (about 250 grams)
  2. 2 cupswater (about 480 ml)
  3. 1 tablespoonpowdered milk
  4. 1 tablespoonbaking powder
  5. 1 tablespooninstant yeast
  6. Pinchsalt
  7. 1 tablespoonsemolina flour

Steps

    Mix the dry ingredients: flour, salt, baking powder, yeast, and powdered milk together.

  2. 2

    Add the water and mix until the batter is smooth and well combined.

  3. 3

    The batter should be pourable—not too thick and not too runny.

  4. 4

    Let the batter rest for 30 minutes.

  5. 5

    Heat a nonstick skillet or ceramic pan and lightly wipe it with a drop of oil. Pour the batter to form small pancakes and cook without flipping until bubbles form and the surface is set.

  6. 6

    Fill the pancakes with your favorite filling, such as mixed nuts, cream cheese, or pudding.

  7. 7

    Pinch the edges to seal well, then fry in hot oil until golden. Remove and drizzle with sugar syrup.
