Slow Cooker Sausage & Peppers

I love sausage & peppers. It can be added on top of pasta or on a hero roll. Either way it is good. But with an active little one that always has me on the go, it was becoming harder to make.
That is until I decided to go out on a limb and try to make it in a slow cooker. Not sure how it would come out, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it tasted the exactly how I like it.
The peppers and onions were made the way that I like them. Al dente. To add a bit of color, use different colored peppers. Hopefully, you will like it as much as I did.

Slow Cooker Sausage & Peppers

Brown sausages in a pan or in a broiler. When it is cooled, you can either slice the links into thirds or just use as is. (You also do not have to cook the sausages before hand, but that is up to you.)

Add the peppers, onions, garlic, black pepper, oregano, and basil into the slow cooker. Mix together.

Place the sausages on top of the onions and peppers. Spread the sausages evenly on top.

Turn the slow cooker onto the low setting and set the timer for 6 hours.
