Boil the potatoes, and in another Sufuria boil the Kunde and the pumpkin leaves. Add salt and let them boil.

Once ready, run cold water on the greens ie (pumpkin leaves and Kunde) and blend in a blender.

In another Sufuria, cook the onions until golden brown and add the boiled potatoes, the boiled soft maize and the already blended greens. Turn off the heat and on a flat area mash together until soft. Once done prepare the stew.

For the stew, below are the ingredients:

Beef cut into pieces, onions, one tomato, tomato paste (optional), garlic, ginger, black pepper, carrots cut in cubes, salt and half a glass of water.

In a hot Sufuria, cook the onions and when the onion is almost golden brown, add the garlic and ginger, cook for 3mins on medium heat and then add the meat. Cook on low heat until the water from the meat is drained out. Once this is done, add tomatoes cut into small pieces, tomato paste if you like, black pepper, salt and mix together.

At this stage, add your half glass of water and leave to boil until the water is all dry. Once this is done, turn of the heat and keep aside.

For the carrots, put them into a Sufuria, add water and salt and leave to boil for 5minutes. Once done, drain out the water and your food is ready. You can serve with some sliced pieces of avocado if you like.

Serve while hot.
