Steps

Wash the chicken pieces very well. Set aside.

Heat up some oil in a big pot. Saute the garlic and ginger until fragant but not burnt. Add the chicken pieces. Stir fry for a while until the meat changes color.

Add the water. Let boil. When it boils, add the Chinese herbs. Simmer until tender, around 2 hours

Add the pepper and salt to taste. Dish up. Serve hot. Enjoy 😇
