Meanwhile, spread butter on the griddle, crack an egg onto it, and sprinkle with salt. You'll hear a sizzling sound, indicating the griddle is hot enough. Place the griddle on a wooden board.

Place the cooked steak on the griddle, sprinkle with salt and your preferred seasonings, and serve.
