Ingredients

  • 3 piecesAustralian tender shoulder beef
  • 1egg
  • 1little ketchup
  • 1little shichimi togarashi (Japanese seven spice)
  • 1little sea salt
  • 1little butter

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat a pan with butter on one burner, and simultaneously heat a griddle on high heat on another burner.

  2. 2

    Sear the 3 pieces of steak on high heat, flipping every 3 seconds until the surface is crispy. Then, reduce to low heat and cook to your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Meanwhile, spread butter on the griddle, crack an egg onto it, and sprinkle with salt. You'll hear a sizzling sound, indicating the griddle is hot enough. Place the griddle on a wooden board.

  4. 4

    Place the cooked steak on the griddle, sprinkle with salt and your preferred seasonings, and serve.
