Boil potatoes maize and peas together but ensure they don't mash. add salt while boiling.

Add the pumpkin leaves and boil for a further 15 minutes until the leaves become soft.

Drain excess water add butter and mash using a wooden spoon or a masher while heating.

Serve with soup.
