preheat oven to 375°F

combine flour, baking soda and salt and set aside

combine butter, sugar, and vanilla and beat until creamy

beat in eggs then gradually add flour mixture

sir in chocolate chips and nuts

drop by level measuring tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet

bake for 9-11 minutes
