Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupsugar
  2. 1 can(46 ounces) pink grapefruit juice (about 6 cups)
  3. 1 can(12 ounces) frozen (thawed) lemonade concentrate
  4. 1 packages(0.14 ounce) strawberry flavored drink mix
  5. 1bottle (2 liter) ginger ale, chilled (8 cups)

Steps

  1. 1

    In a 2 quart NON-METAL freezer container, stir all ingredients except ginger ale until sugar is dissolved.

  2. 2

    Freeze 4 to 6 hours or until slush consistency.

  3. 3

    If slush is frozen solid, let stand at room temperature for about 30 minutes before serving.

  4. 4

    To serve, spoon 1/2 cup slush mixture into each glass.

  5. 5

    Pour 1/2 cup ginger ale over each.

Some of my favorite things are family, friends, my pets, cooking, baking, football (Badger & Packer), Brewer baseball, college basketball, car racing, thrift stores, volunteering, and rummage sales. I have a 9 year old rescue dog, and 7 birds ( 6 are rescue) and they range in age from 1 year to over 19 years old. I volunteer for a dog rescue and a shelter, as well as other festivals and organizations.
