Serving size is per person for scallops only. Potatoes should be enough for at least two persons

Prepare potatoes as per instructions

heat half stick of butter and add minced garlic. Use spoon to press the minced garlic into the butter

mix the garlic butter into the potatoes and keep warm

heat marinara sauce in microwave until warm

Heat olive oil in a large skillet to medium high

smooth olive oil over entire skillet and sear scallop for about a minute on each side. Do not move the scallops during the searing process to give a nice toasted surface. Do not over cook.

using a table spoon, place three large dolops of potatoes on each dinner plate. Place one scallop on each potato dolop and push down with finger. Top with a tablespoon of warm Marina sauce.
