For years I have made the traditional version of this: orange jello, crushed pineapple and Mandarin oranges. Gradually I moved to lemon jello, then to tidbits, then to blueberries. Good to add finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese. Also great with strawberry jello, bananas and blueberries.

1 cuppineapple tidbits (drained very well, I blot with paper towel)
1 cupfresh blueberries
1 cupcool whip (more, if you like it fluffier, I won't tell your mama)

Stir dry jello into cottage cheese until very well blended. After this step, fold, don't stir.

Fold in the blueberries and pineapple. Then GENTLY fold in the cool whip. Chill and serve. Lick the spoon and bowl - too good to waste
