  1. Cupcakes
  2. 1 packagesyellow cake mix
  3. 1 packages(4-serving size) vanilla instant pudding mix
  4. 1 cupcanned pumpkin
  5. 1/2 cupoil
  6. 1/2 cupwater
  7. 3eggs
  8. 1 1/2 tspground cinnamon
  9. 1 tspground cloves
  10. 1 tsppure vanilla extract
  11. Frosting
  12. 1 packages(8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  13. 1/4 cupbutter, softened
  14. 1 tsppure vanilla extract
  15. 1/4 tspground cloves
  16. 1 box(16 oz) confectioner's sugar

  1. 1

    Cupcakes:
    1. Beat all cupcake ingredients with electric mixer on low speed just until moistened. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes. Spoon batter into 24 paper-lined muffin cups, filling each cup 2/3 full.

    2. Bake in preheated 350°F oven for 20 minutes. Frost cooled cupcakes with spiced cream cheese frosting.

    Frosting:
    1. Beat all frosting ingredients (except confectioner's sugar) until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in confectioner's sugar until smooth.
