Ingredients

12 servings
  1. 3 lbchuck roast
  2. 1 packagesHidden Valley Ranch dressing mix powder
  3. 1 envelopeMcCormick au jus mix powder
  4. 1 stickmargarine or butter
  5. 5Pepperoncini peppers

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Place roast in crock pot.

  2. 2

    Sprinkle with Hidden Valley ranch powder.

  3. 3

    Add remaining ingredients to crock pot over roast. Do not add water.

  4. 4

    Cook on Low for 7-8 hours.

  5. 5

    Serve on hamburger buns. Store unused roast in refrigerator.

I made this but added quartered potatoes, baby carrots, some minced garlic and a little chopped celery with half a packet of dried onion soup mix along with 1/4 cup brine from the peppers and 1/4 cup water in the bottom of slow cooker. I placed meat on top and put all seasoning packets on top with the additional half package of onion soup mix used real butter that I cut into slices and placed all over the roast with the peppers all around it. It was absolutely delicious.
