Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl reserving 2 oz flour

Add 3/4 cup water and knead into a dough

Add remaining flour and water as little at a time until a smooth dough ball is formed. sometimes all the water is not necessary

On a clean floured surface make 12 small balls and flatten. if u want bigger bakes make less balls

Leave covered with a towel for half hr to 45 mins

In a deep thick pot heat 2 cups cooking oil until a sprinkle of flour dropped in bubbles

Fry bakes on medium low heat until desired brown color is obtained. check frequently turn and brown other side. NEVER STICK WITH FORK this will make bakes oily USE A SPATULA

As soon as u remove place on 2 sheets of paper towel to absorb oil.
