I have always loved turmeric powder. I practically put it on any dish given the window of opportunity. Why not start the day with a dose of good and health benefiting spice like turmeric. It's good for digestion and helps burn fat.It gives a slightly smoky and earthy taste to any dish and it's bright yellow pigment just colors your scrambled eggs with a canary yellow - great for those morning blues. If your like me, I live with coriander haters so it's optional for me to put it in some of my dishes. I love the freshness that coriander brings to the dish. It goes well with the very rich taste of the eggs and milk.

  1. 2Large eggs
  2. 1/4 cupwhole milk
  3. 1 tbspbutter
  4. 1 tbspoil
  5. 1/4 tspTurmeric Powder
  6. 1/4 tspblack pepper
  7. 1/4 tspsalt
  8. 1onion, chopped finely
  9. 2 clovegarlic, minced
  10. 3 tbspcoriander (optional)

  1. 1

    In a mixing bowl beat 2 eggs with 1/4 cup of milk and add the turmeric powder, black pepper, and salt - beat well until all ingredients are combined. In a small pan saute onions in 1 tablespoon of butter and oil. Once onions looks translucent add the garlic. Add the beaten mixture to the pan and scramble till cooked. (optional) add chopped coriander for garnish.
