  • 1 lbCooked shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1Hass avocado (diced)
  • 1 mediumtomato (diced)
  • 1 tbspCilantro (chopped)
  • 1/2 cupRed onion (diced)
  • 3Limes, juice of
  • 1 tspOlive oil
  • 1Salt and pepper for taste
  • 1Lettuce (optional)

    Gather all ingredients

    A picture of step 1 of Zesty Lime Shrimp & Avocado Ceviche.

    In a small bowl combine the chopped red onion, lime juice, olive oil and a pinch of sat and pepper.

  3. 3

    Let them marinate for at least 5 minutes to mellow the flavor of the onion.

  4. 4

    In a large bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, avocado, and tomato. Combine all the ingredients together, add cilantro and gently toss. Add salt and pepper for taste.

    OPTIONAL: Top your favorite lettuce with the ceviche. Taste great!
