Beef Bone Broth

I started making my own broth after my doctor told me I needed more collagen and (weirdly enough) more good cholesterol.
Now my risottos and soups taste just like my grandma's!

Steps
- 1
Put the bones in your slow cooker and cover it with water.
- 2
Add the bay leaves, pepper, vinegar and vegetables scraps
- 3
Cook on low for 24 hours. Do not add any water, the broth will reduce and that is normal.
- 4
After it is done cooking you may put it in mason jars (do not fill all the way up, as the liquid expands when frozen).
- 5
Another great idea is to freeze broth in ice cube trays.
- 6
Freeze for up to 1 year
- 7
Usually you can ask your local butcher for beef bones, they sell it for cheap if not for free!
