Snowball Cake
It's not only beautiful, but really tasty!
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 350°
- 2
Prepare cake mix in 2 1/2 quart oven proof bowl as directed on package. Scrape side of bowl. (This will prevent the cake from sticking when you try to invert it).
- 3
In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese, egg and granulated sugar until smooth.
- 4
Spoon cream cheese mixture into center of cake batter bowl.
- 5
Bake cake for one hour, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- 6
Loosen cake from bowl with knife, using potholders if necessary. Invert onto wire rack and carefully remove the bowl. Allow cake to cool completely.
- 7
While cake cools, beat dry pudding mix, cold milk and powdered sugar. Whisk 2 mins. Stir in Cool Whip and refrigerate until ready to use.
- 8
Place cake on serving plate. Frost with pudding mixture. Cover with coconut flakes. Enjoy!

Snowball cake Snowball cake
This is a play on hostess snowballs. You can cover it with coconut but I like it better to add just a drop or two of pure coconut extract to the 7 min frosting and add shaved chocolate on top. The filling for the cake is AWESOME not over sweet Rebecca Hammock -

Orange Cake Orange Cake
I wanted to make a refreshing cake with citrus fruits. This is like a variation of the Orange Yogurt Pound Cake recipe (ID:566906), but I decorated it so it could also be used as a eyecatching gift.Since the whole orange including the peel is used, it's best to use chemical-free oranges. Leaving the orange syrup overnight will elminate any bitterness from the orange peel. If you use a cake tin with a removable bottom and line the bottom wiith baking paper it will be really easy to take the cake out. This recipe uses the icing as a glaze. Recipe by nin cookpad.japan -
