Steps

Wash and soak daal in water till you chop the vegetables

Chop all the vegetables like palak,methi, coriander, carrot, tomatoes, onion, garlic etc

Heat a cooker and add 1 tsp oil. Add chopped onion and fry for 3 minutes. Add all the vegetables and daal except garlic. Add all the spices and cook for 5 minutes.

Add half cup water and close the lid. Cook till 3 whistles.

Open the cooker and mash palak and daal coarsely with a hand blender.

Season it with chopped garlic fried in 1 tsp oil.

Serve it with steamed rice or chapati
