Ingredients

  1. 1 bundleSpinach
  2. 1/2 bundlemethi
  3. 1/2 bundlecoriander
  4. Halfbundle khatta palak
  5. 1carrot
  6. 4tomatoes
  7. 1/2 cup yellow moong daal
  8. 1onion
  9. 8-10 clovesgarlic
  10. 1 inchpiece ginger
  11. 2 tspoil
  12. as per tasteSalt,
  13. as per tastered chilli powder
  14. as per tasteturmeric,

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash and soak daal in water till you chop the vegetables

    Chop all the vegetables like palak,methi, coriander, carrot, tomatoes, onion, garlic etc

    Heat a cooker and add 1 tsp oil. Add chopped onion and fry for 3 minutes. Add all the vegetables and daal except garlic. Add all the spices and cook for 5 minutes.

    Add half cup water and close the lid. Cook till 3 whistles.

  5. 5

    Open the cooker and mash palak and daal coarsely with a hand blender.

  6. 6

    Season it with chopped garlic fried in 1 tsp oil.

  7. 7

    Serve it with steamed rice or chapati
