This is how we eat in south India.. it has an awesome taste and very easy to make :hungry try it B-)
Steps

cut the pointed sides of Beans n remove the string off the sides

slit the chillies into half, which makes it 10 pieces

cut the beans into small pieces

In a pan, add the beans, chillies and water and heat it on a cooking stove

Add salt and turmeric powder and stir it well.

Close it with a lid and let it cook until the water dry up. But make sure you stir it occassionally so that all sides get cooked well.

Add curry leaves and oil to it and stir well.

Let it heat on low flame for 5 min and saute in between

off the flame, cover it with a lid and let it stay under the steam for 5 min before serving.

Served with rice or bread. Hope you love this version of fava beans and let me know *wink*

This recipe can be used for any kind of beans or veggies and it taste delicious. Very easy, right?

You can use any oil of your taste, we used coconut oil :-P
