Original recipe from All Recipes. I have made some changes and now make this soup every 2 weeks and have this often to lose and maintain my weight. This soup is simple to make and delicious. You can add any thing you like to make it better, as long as they are not fatty! haha!

Ingredients

  1. 3/4onion, chopped
  2. 1 1/2Carrot, chopped
  3. 1/2 canWhole peeled tomato, with liquid
  4. 1/4 canCut green beans or a bunch of fresh beans, cut
  5. 1/2 mediumcabbage, chopped
  6. 1/2Green bell pepper, diced
  7. 3 stickCelery, chopped
  8. 2 cloveGarlic, chopped
  9. 500 mlTomato juice
  10. 1/4 canBeef Broth or 1 cup of water + 1 beef bouilion cube
  11. 1 pinchof any spices of your perference, to enhance the taste. I use Mixed Spices and lots of black pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Place everything in a large pot. Add enough water to cover the vegetables.

    Simmer until the vegetables are tender. Maybe stored in the fridge for serveral days.

    Replace 1 or 2 of your main meals with this soup for gradual weight loss.

  4. 4

    Lean minced meat can be added for some protein intake. Cook the minced meat, drain the oil from the meat, add some cabbage soup and bring it to a boil. Then enjoy!
