Ingredients

  1. 1 1/4kilos lean ground beef
  2. 8 mediumyellow potatoes
  3. 1 mediumonion chopped
  4. 125 gramsfrozen corn
  5. 125 gramsfrozen green beans
  6. 125 gramsfrozen carrots
  7. 2 tbspsalt, pepper, garlic powder, dry mustard
  8. 2 cupgraded cheese
  9. 1/2 cupunsalted butter
  10. 1 cupmilk
  11. 1 ozvegetable oil

  1. 1

    Combine the onion, ground beef, veg oil and the dry ingredients into a pan on medium heat.

    Chop and boil the potatoes until fork tender and drain the water.

    Once the beef mixture has browned, add in the frozen veg and half the butter. Once the mixture has thickened, turn off the heat and cover.

    Add the milk and remaining butter to the potatoes and mash.(season to taste)

  5. 5

    Layer the beef mixture into an oven safe dish, with the potatoes on top. Evenly sprinkle the cheese atop the potatoes. Bake in the oven at 350 until golden brown and serve.

I'm half Spanish half Italian, love cooking, even more than I love eating, lol...I think I'd have to say that Bobby Flay is my favorite chef.To me nothing is more important than family, and it's great when I'm able to get them all together for a big dinner or BBQ!
