Bonfire Shepherds pie

One great way to get children to eat some veg. Also I love it because it goes great with my home made pickled green beans.

One great way to get children to eat some veg. Also I love it because it goes great with my home made pickled green beans.
Steps
- 1
Preheat oven to 190°C/375°F or 170°C for fan ovens
- 2
Brown the lamb with the oil in a non-stick pan. Add onion and rest of the vegetables and cook for about 3 minutes.
- 3
Add stock and seasoning (I like adding a bit of Worcestershire sauce) and simmer for 20 minutes covered.
- 4
Mix Bisto with some water to make smooth paste. Add to mixture stirring until thickened. Simmer for 3 minutes.
- 5
Boil potatoes and parsnips until tender and mash together.
- 6
Tip mixture of vegetables into heatproof dish and cover with mash.
- 7
Cook for 40 to 45 minutes and serve with vegetables
