2 lbsplit yellow peas
1 1/2 tspgaram masala
1 1/2 tspsalt
1 stickbutter or quarter pound of ghee
2 tbspturmeric
1 tbspgranulated garlic
1 tbsponion powder
2 tbspground cumin
1 largeonion chopped
2 quartwater
1 tspbaking soda
2 tspfenugreek

in a container add your peas cover with water soak over night have container big enough to expand twice their size

in a pan add peas add your water just to cover add spices , boil till liquid is almost gone add butter or ghee fold into peas cover remove from heat let sit 7 minutes enjoy
