Ingredients

  • 1/4 cupOnion -Chopped Fine
  • 3 cupMushrooms - Sliced
  • 2 tbspButter
  • 4 tbspCorn Starch
  • 4 cupChicken Stock
  • 1 cupHalf & Half
  • 1/2 tspPepper
  • 1/4 tspSalt
  • 1Shredded Cheddar Cheese - Garnish
  • 1Green Onion - Chopped - Garnish

Steps

  1. 1

    Saute Onion in Butter.

  2. 2

    Add Mushrooms and saute until tender.

  3. 3

    Heat Chicken Stock over medium heat, add Mushroom mixture.

  4. 4

    Dissolve Corn Starch in water and add to Stock to thicken, stirring continuously. Stock should thicken like gravy.

  5. 5

    Add Salt & Pepper.

  6. 6

    Reduce heat and add Cream.

  7. 7

    Simmer for 10 minutes, uncovered, stirring often.

  8. 8

    Serve topped with Cheddar Cheese & Green Onion.
