Ingredients

Pre 35 + 35 min
4 servings
  1. 750 gmsAmaranthus leaves
  2. 1 tspgrated Ginger
  3. 4-5 clovesgarlic chopped
  4. 2Tomatoes
  5. Green chilli one
  6. Onion one big chopped
  7. Salt as per taste
  8. 1/2 tspTurmeric
  9. 3 tbspPure ghee
  10. 1 pinchAsfoetida
  11. 1/3 tspCumin seeds
  12. 1/4 tspRed chilli powder

Steps

Pre 35 + 35 min
  1. 1

    Wash the leaves thoroughly

  2. 2

    Boil them in pressure cooker by adding one tomato ginger salt turmeric and cook at low heat after first whistle

  3. 3

    Blend coarsely with masher when cool

  4. 4

    Heat ghee in a pan.. add ghee and let asfoetida and jeera splutter

  5. 5

    Add onion and saute till golden brown

  6. 6

    Add chopped tomato.. when it becomes soft add chilli powder and enjoy with parantha
