Steps

Take both daals. Wash it and soak it in water for an hour. You can take more urad daal and lesser chana daal.

Drain water from the daal and pressure cook it with haldi and namak.

Heat oil in pan and add jeera when it splutter add onions,saute till onions turns brown.

Add finely chopped tomatoes saute till tomatoes becomes tender. Add ginger garlic paste and cook for 1 min.

Add chilli powder, garam masala with little water and cook till oil get separated.

Now add cooked daal. Mix well and cook on medium heat for 8 to 10 min. for creamy texture.

Garnish with corriender leaves and fresh cream. Serve with naan or tandoori roti.
