Preheat oven at 190°C/375°F.

Combine milk, sugar, butter (or margerine) and salt into a large bowl.

Add in the instant yeast.

Stir in flour one cup at a time, until a stiff dough is formed.

Transfer the dough to a floured surface. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.

Place dough in a large greased bowl, cover with a plastic wrap and leave to rise in a warm place until doubled in volume (2-3hrs).

Punch down the risen dough with your fist and divide into 9 balls. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in volume, about 45 min.

Bake until firm and brown about 20-25mins.
