Devine ginger cake with caramel icing
Steps

Preheat oven to 150*c , grease deep 20cm ring pan

Sift dry ingred into medium bowl, add ingredients, beat with electric beater on low until ingred are combined

Increase speed to meduium, beat for 2 minsor until mixture is smooth and paler in colour

Pour mixture into pan, bake for approx 35mins, stand in pan for 10 mins before turning onto wire rack to cool

CARAMEL ICING

Stir butter, sugar & milk in a small saucepan over heat until sugar disolves
- 7
Bring to the boil then simmer, stirring for 2 mins
- 8
Remove from heat, stir in sifted icing sugar & drizzle warm icing over cake
