1/2 cupground almonds
2 tbspflour
1/4 cupbrown sugar
2 tspeach cinnamon and mixed spice
1/4 tspground cloves
4granny smith or braeburn apples
1egg

pre heat oven to 200 roll thawed pastry so they are 5cm bigger each way - place one sheet on baking powder measure dry ingredients and in a chopping bowl chop up apples

break egg into bowl mix lightly then add one third to mixture put mixture into centre leaving a 2cm strip brush with beaten egg place to sheet over the top

bake 20 mins then dust with icing sugar
