Beetroot Gajar Ki Kanji🍷(Indian Probiotic Drink)

Kanji is a traditional fermented North Indian drink which is made during winter with black carrots .If you don't have black carrots ; then adding beetroot gives this rich dark purple colour. It has a sour and pungent taste. My recipe has both carrots and beets .
Nowdays we call this as detox drink😜

Wash ;cut and beetroot in any shape.

Grind rai coarsely.

Take a bottle jar.

Add veggies powdered rai.

Fill in the jar with water and salt.

Cover and let it infuse for 2-3 days.

Mix everyday.

Adjust the taste.

Serve cold or at room temperature.

Don't strain.

Keep the veggies in the side.

Pour in a glass.

Enjoy the drink.

Make sure to save the carrots and beets ; they will make for tasty pickles.
