Beat eggs and sugar in a small bowl with an electric mixture until thick and pale. Stir in sifted flours, cocoa and soda. Add the melted butter, chocolate and Choc bits. Stir until combined. Cover and refridgerate for 1 hour

Roll tablespoons of mixture into balls, Place about 6cm apart on three greased oven trays.

Cook, one tray at a time, in moderate oven (180C) for about 10 minutes, or until lightly browned. Remove from oven. Stand on trays for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool further
