A chocolate kiss tops a peanut butter cookie. This is a pretty common cookie style and there's a couple of recipes here already, but they're all a bit...wrong. This recipe is how my family does these, and its great!

I've substituted the process of dredging the patties in white flour, egg and panko by using tempura flour instead to save time.Tips on preventing the croquettes from exploding.- Fry at high temperature for a short time.- Avoid touching/moving the croquettes once they're in the hot oil. Flip over when one side is lightly browned.- Cook small batches at a time. This will prevent sudden temperature changes which can lead to croquettes exploding. Recipe by FarmersK

I made over 30 of these for a class party a few years ago ... was a big hit with the kids... I had kids giving me hugs and everything. And so many thank you and how much they like them , my kids loves these too. I make them and put them in stocking or the family Christmas Eve box... good gifts idea for teachers too . Good for any age . Easy and fun and really good.... ( if you make them for a class party, I’d tell them what it actually is who ever in charge of stuff, the head parent of the classroom thought I was bring soup smh lol! And that it’s a take home treat to make at home.) I also use this for small parties at home..
