In medium bowl, beat egg yolks and sugar untill well blended.

Heat in microwave, 45 seconds at a time, while slowly adding half-and-half. Stir and heat until thickens.

Set aside to cool, stiring frequently.

Stir in butter.

Stir in whipping cream and vanilla.

Pour into ice cream maker according to manufacturers direction.

Per my ice cream maker, process for 30-minutes.

NOTE: I used 1/2- slenda and 1/2 honey.
